Interested in Ph.D.@CSE IITD but missed the application deadline (and meet our shortlisting criteria) ? You have yet another chance!

Dates: 21 - 22 May 2018

Reporting Time: 07:45 a.m.

Venue: Room no. 501, Block II A, Bharti Building, IIT Delhi

The candidates are requested to report at 7:45 a.m. on the respective day. The approximate format will be:

1. Online test from 08:00 to 10:00 hours.

2. First round interviews between 10:00 to 13:30 hours.

3. Second round interviews (for candidates selected in the 1st round) from 15:00 to 19:00 hours.

The interview will be a multi-stage process. The first stage is an online test (taken in our CS lab), which will test general aptitude and basic computer science (e.g., programming and data structures). This online test will involve multiple-choice questions (with potentially multiple correct answers), and programming questions (where you will be asked to write a small program). The programming languages supported by our online test infrastructure are C, C++, Java, and Python. You will have the choice of programming in any of these languages during the online test. Your program is supposed to compile and run correctly with the expected output, for you to score marks in the programming questions.

The shortlisted candidates (based on the online test) will be invited for interviews. The interviews will involve questions on fundamentals of computer science, and will test the depth of your understanding in the areas of your interest. You can refer to the follwing link for some sample interview questions in each research area.
