The central dogma in biology is that RNA gets trancribed from DNA. Many different types of RNA gets transcribed from DNA. microRNA is one those RNAs which gets transcribed from DNA. Before transcribing actual microRNA, a bigger piece gets transcribed from DNA. The bigger piece is known as primary microRNA. After removing some portion of primary microRNA, we get precursor microRNA. The talk is about how to predict the regions in human genome which trancribes precursor microRNA.
