List of Candidates Shortlisted for Stage 1

The lists of shortlisted candidates have been generated using an automated script based on the information provided in the forms filled by the candidates. It is possible for these lists to have errors. The final offer of admission depends on the candidate meeting the shortlisting criteria given above, after approval by the competent authority.

If you believe you meet the shortlisting criteria but your application reference no. does not appear in the shortlist, please let us know as soon as possible by sending a mail to .

Note: A candidate should appear for the selection process if and only if they meet the shortlisting criteria.


Selection Process

Stage 1: Shortlisted applicants should fill in the questionnaire form to indicate your interest in appearing for the written test and interviews. You must fill this form by 5th July, otherwise we may not be able to seat you for the written test. If you meet the shortlisting criteria but were not included in the lists above, please inform us as soon as possible.

Stage 2: Those shortlisted are invited to appear for an in-person written test at IIT Delhi on 8th July. Please see the detailed instructions below.

Stage 3: If you pass the written test, you will be asked to appear for an in-person interview on the same day (8th July). The candidates shortlisted for interview will be announced shortly after the written test. Depending on the number of shortlisted candidates, the interviews may continue until the end of the day. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Travel allowance will be given according to institute norms. The TA form may be submitted to the CSE department office, Room 401 on the 3rd floor of the Bharti Building. Please note that we are not able to arrange hostel accommodation.

Important note for part time candidates: Part-time candidates must bring with them a hard copy of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer in the prescribed NOC format. The NOC may be checked before or during the interview, and candidates without a valid NOC in the correct format will not be permitted to proceed in the admissions process.


Written Test

Instructions

The written test will be held on 8th July in Room 501 of the Bharti Building at IIT Delhi. The reporting time is 9:30 AM, and no entry will be allowed after 10:00 AM.

Applicants are required to carry the following items with them to take the test:

  • Pencil and eraser
  • Government-issued ID card
  • Printout of the call letter emailed on 1st July
  • Printout of the first 2 pages of your application

You are permitted to bring a water bottle with you. No electronic devices will be allowed during the test, such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, earphones, etc.

Format

The written test will include two parts: an objective section, and an on-paper programming section. Applicants must pass both the objective and the programming sections in order to be considered for interviews. The questions in the objective section will be on basic computer science topics, including:

  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Hardware and software systems
  • Probability and linear algebra
  • Discrete mathematics and logic
