The lists of shortlisted candidates have been generated using an automated script based on the information provided in the forms filled by the candidates. It is possible for these lists to have errors. The final offer of admission depends on the candidate meeting
the shortlisting criteria given above. If your name does not appear in the lists above but you think you qualify the shortlisting criteria above, please let us know, and plan on appearing for the test/interview.
NOTE: A candidate should appear for the selection process if and only if he/she meets the shortlisting criteria.
Interviews will be conducted between 9:00am and 6:00pm on 10th and 11th December.
Please arrive at the CSE department office (Bharti 401) at least 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled slot. We will not be able to reschedule your interview if you are not there on time.
Stage 1: Fill in the questionnaire form whose link is shared to all shortlisted candidates via email. You must fill this by 2nd December, 2024. Only those who fill the questionnaire by the deadline will be allowed to sit for the exam.
Stage 2: Those shortlisted are invited to appear for an in-person exam at IIT Delhi on 9th December. You should reach the venue no later than 3:00 PM and the exam will start at 3:30PM. You must carry a government-issued ID with you to take the exam.
The shortlisting exam will include three parts: objective, subjective, and programming. The questions will be on basic computer science topics, including:
For the programming part, you will need choose between C++ and Python as your programming language. (Note that it is possible to use C in the C++ version.)
Candidates who fail to clear minimum cutoffs in the objective and programming parts will not be shortlisted for the interview. A sample exam is provided below for you to self-assess your preparedness for the exam:
Stage 3: If you pass the exam, you will have an in-person interview on either 10th or 11th December. The shortlisted candidates for the interview and their interview dates will be announced on 9th December after the exam. (If your address is from outside NCR, your interview will be completed by 5pm on 10th December.)
